What is LIFT planning?

LIFT planning is a comprehensive look at a client’s financial and insurance protection planning, accumulation strategies, and future financial asset distribution strategy. This gives clients a clear direction of how to implement their financial plan with insurance brokers and asset managers.

  • Lifestyle Planning – We examine a client’s current cash flow and have conversations on future goals and projections. No matter whether it is college planning, wedding planning, a change of jobs, or retirement (to name a few), we strive to add more clarity on what needs to be done to accomplish these goals.

  • Insurance Planning – We work with outside insurance brokers to provide clients with an audit of their existing insurance portfolios.  With this audit we educate clients about their current coverage, alternative options and be sure they are paying competitive premiums.

Some of the areas we review are:
o Property and Casualty (example: Home and Auto)
    o Life Insurance
    o Disability Income Insurance
    o Long Term Care Insurance

  • Financial Planning Assessment – We assess client financial portfolios, goals, and risk tolerance to be sure they are in sync.

  • Tax Planning – We assess the client’s current asset positions and discuss future tax diversification within our tax control triangle. We look at options to use qualified plans, non-qualified strategies, and tax advantaged assets.
